Written and directed by the Duplass Brothers. Starring Jason Segel, Ed Helms, Susan Sarandon, and Judy Greer.

Any concerns I had over bad marketing is being put aside by this trailer. It’s pitched as exactly what it is and hopefully, if they’re smart, audiences will get on board. There’s no reason not to trust the Duplass brothers or these performers but the trailer doesn’t give a lot to invite you in. For now my interest lies on the talent as this spot while agreeable did nothing for me either way.

Another Movie Trailer of the Day: After a slew of spoofs and sendups, the final movie trailer for James Bobin’s upcoming Jason Segel/Nicholas Stoller-penned Muppets movie finally reveals what the highly anticipated film is actually about.

The Muppets, which stars, Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Chris Cooper, Rashida Jones, a whole bunch of guest stars, and, of course, the Muppets, is set for wide release November 23.
