Yes, please. I want to see this movie.
Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters trailer
I am - inexplicably gleeful about this trailer. Even though I will always be heartbroken about Gretel not being played by Noomi Rapace.
Oh hey. This looks cheesy, and silly, and wonderful.
Trailer: ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2’ - Nov 16
(via Coming Soon)
Oh snap! You mean there actually MIGHT be a real fight? The book was such bull shit… “oh, Vampire Bella has this super bubble power where no one will be able to touch them, and therefore - no fight!”
Yes, I read the books, and have feelings about them (other than “oh god, the misogyny”). Yes, same with the movies. And, yes… I know what I just wrote will live on in the internet forever.
Trailer: The Perks of Being a Wallflower - Sept 14
Written and directed by Stephen Chbosky, starring Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, Ezra Miller, Paul Rudd, Mae Whitman, Nina Dobrev, Kate Walsh and Dylan McDermott.
Yup yup yup. Can’t wait!
Trailer: Safety Not Guaranteed - June 8th
Directed by Colin Trevorrow, written by Derek Connolly, starring Aubrey Plaza, Mark Duplass, Jake Johnson, Jeff Garlin, Mary Lynn Rajskub, and Kristen Bell.
Aside from the perfect cast and festival attention, this thing just looks damn good. The concept is unique; the trailer is intriguing without giving too much away. I am wholly on board. As long as there’s no hot tub time machine.

That looks lovely.
Prometheus - New Trailer
HOLY SHIT.
I should probably see alien now, huh?
Bully of the Day: The MPAA today rejected the Weinstein Company’s request to reduce the rating of their bullying documentary from an R to a PG-13.
The rating, given for language, was reportedly upheld by a single vote.
Harvey Weinstein had hoped Bully could be used as an educational tool for teachers looking to augment existing anti-bullying lesson plans. However, the ruling may restrict the showing of the film in certain schools, as it prohibits viewing by children under 17 years of age without a parent or adult guardian present.
As a result, Weinstein Co. released a statement saying it “is considering a leave of absence from the MPAA for the foreseeable future.”
The MPAA followed up with their own statement, saying that while they agree that Bully “can serve as a vehicle” for discussions about bullying, the association “has the responsibility…to acknowledge and represent the strong feedback from parents throughout the country who want to be informed about content in movies, including language.”
It remains unclear if Weinstein intends to follow through with his threat, but, as Deadline points out, due to “longstanding though nonbinding agreement between exhibitors and the MPAA,” unrated films have a much tougher time getting shown in theaters than R-rated films.

I haven’t seen this movie yet (obviously), but I would be willing to bet that “language” used in the movie is being said by kids - words I’m sure a kid between the age of 13 and 17 already knows, and probably uses.
I know the MPAA has weird rules about how many times the word “fuck” can be used and weird things like that, but don’t they screen for context too? I mean, a movie ABOUT kids that are horrible to other kids is different than say, American Pie or some other movie that is rated R and has language and sex. I would be willing to bet a kid seeing “fuck” used once just randomly in a PG-13 movie and watching a kid say something like “you’re a fucking fag” to another kid in school would have completely different reactions.
There’s just something so sad about this whole rating thing. I think this movie seriously could have a huge impact.
Trailer: Jeff, Who Lives at Home - March 16
Written and directed by the Duplass Brothers. Starring Jason Segel, Ed Helms, Susan Sarandon, and Judy Greer.
Any concerns I had over bad marketing is being put aside by this trailer. It’s pitched as exactly what it is and hopefully, if they’re smart, audiences will get on board. There’s no reason not to trust the Duplass brothers or these performers but the trailer doesn’t give a lot to invite you in. For now my interest lies on the talent as this spot while agreeable did nothing for me either way.

Ooooh! New jason Segel!
Also, yay The Middle East - Blood!
A new still for The Perks of Being a Wallflower
I was literally just about to try and find a picture of Emma from this movie. Tumblr, stop reading my mind, please.
